Biography Show/Hide This line up of Rubberpool was first formed in 2006 when the band had a fourth member on second guitar. When the second guitar position was vacated, the remaining members decided to drop that position and maintain a three-piece band. Irene Tan–Gurango's saccharine, schoolgirl vocals spikes up the thick and heady instrumentals delivered by Monsi Simon and David Sison on guitars, Doc Urbino on bass and Nico Pineda on drums,and we cant forget to mention the additon of guitarist David Gomez...adding his progressive style of raping guitar licks. Given the varying backgrounds and musical preferences of each member, the composite that is Chubibo is a happy blend of classic southern rock, blues, disco and punk.
