Twisted Halo is Filipino rock band which is not in existence right now. Started as independent, the band ended independent as well. Known for their “controlled violence” rock music, they catered their songs in an ideal manner, speaking about the living darkness of the local society. Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, David Bowie, Jeff Buckley, Gang of Four, The Cure, Eraserheads, Sandwich, Urbandub were among their main influences.
Twisted Halo penetrated the independent music scene around year 1999-2000. With their own brand of music, they made quite a splash in the scene and respected by the music aficionados.
Aside from their uncompromising and principled approach to rock music, Twisted Halo understands what rock business is and the purpose of what they are doing. Their lyrics isn’t just going nothing but rather prefer in expressing the unsaid, the real thing that is happening in the society incorporated with possible solutions for such.
